AHC20422 – Certificate II in Horticulture
This VCE VET program is a nationally recognised qualification. Intended as an entry level course, it provides students with a broad range of knowledge and skills, including plant recognition, pest and weed control, machinery and equipment operation, planting, soil testing, caring for nursery plants, pruning, and propagation.
Students enrolled in the AHC20422 – Certificate II in Horticulture have access to SCAPES@CRC, a business unit that features state-of-the-art gardens and landscaped areas. Equipped with commercial industry tools, this facility offers students real-life workplace experience opportunities. On-premises, students are trained, assessed, coached, and mentored, applying their horticultural skills to support the school’s full-time gardener and the gardening team.
