SIS30115 Certificate III in Sport and Recreation
The aim of the VCAA VCE/VET Sport and Recreation program is to:
- Provide participants with the foundation knowledge and skills to achieve competencies that will enhance their employment prospects within the Sport and Recreation or related industries
- Provide knowledge and skills to use in a range of job functions
- Enable participants to gain a recognised credential and make a more informed choice of vocation and career path
Qualification Outline
This Qualification requires the achievement of 15 Units of Competency in accordance with the following rules:
9 core units
6 elective units
Electives are to be chosen as follows:
- 3 Units to be selected from the Certificate III in Sport and Recreation list
- 3 units may be selected from elsewhere in the SIS Training Package, or other current Training Package or accredited course

Assessment
